Traffic Impact Assessments & Swept path diagrams
We undertake Traffic impact assessment (TIA), technical analysis of traffic problems and safety issues relating to specific development.
The scope of work includes:
- Inspect the site and surrounding area, noting the existing conditions:
- Prepare an inventory of on-street parking in the vicinity of the site.
- Undertake parking occupancy surveys via aerial images on a typical weekday and weekend, during the proposed operating hours of the site, to confirm the availability of on-street car parking in the vicinity.
- Confirm the availability of sustainable transport in the vicinity of the site.
- Complete Car Parking Demand Assessment to determine the car parking demand likely to be generated by the proposed development.
- Justify the reduction in car parking as allowed by Clause 52.06 of the Planning Scheme
- Prepare swept path diagrams.
- Undertake discussion with Council by way of the telephone should Council require further clarification on the above items.
